Dick told me, Though I do see an advantage to having a management company do some of our work, putting out the THUNDER under the guide lines presented would so complicate things for me that I told the board that I would no longer be its editor. I hated to take this position, because I do enjoy this opportunity to project our Marauder History. I regularly receive notes, cards and letters asking me to keep up the good work. But there is a limit to what I can do and the additional that is projected has just tipped the scales.
Dick went on to point out how simple and efficient our procedure has been in the past and said that he would like to continue publishing a Marauder Newsletter in the THUNDER format. Without going into details, I can confirm that this new arrangement would unnecessarily complicate things and probably will result in an inferior product. |
