| This is an eight page typed account by Allen Cloutman, a flight engineer/crew chief, from the time that he enlisted September 17, 1941 until he completed a four month flight in a B-26 via the southern route across the Atlantic and rejoined his unit, 37th Bomb Squadron, 17th Bomb Group at Telergma, Arabia in February 1943. There is no indication of when the original document was produced. An epilogue accompanied this that was handwritten by Jack Gordon and can be accessed as a graphic as page 9.
