| After getting registered and being handed a stack of maps we three went out on the street to try to decide which way we should go to see the things that interested us. While we were pondering our next move, two art students came over and offered to help. That was a real break! As they knew the city, the sights, and the subways to get us to the next place as fast as possible. The girl's name was Jackie and the fellow was named Guy. They expedited our sightseeing and we were able to see and visit the Effiel tower, Napoleons tomb, Madoline Church, Sacre Coeur, and of course Notre Dame. When we |

entered Notre Dame, a wedding was just finishing and as the bride
and groom ( an Army Lt. ) came down the center aisle to exit, the
great organ in the cathedral burst forth as if Gabriel had sounded the
Iast trumpet. I was mighty impressed. At the subway stations we
would just get on whichever car was most convenient. They told us
that we should ride in the first class cars, so we did it their way!
