| This is probably the most publicized pic of a B-26. The engine has been hit and is seen falling off, prop still spinning. Photo taken through waist window of plane just ahead probably by Sgt. Peter J. Holmes, though several others have claimed credit. (Toulon Harbor, France, August 20,1944, Plane #50, 17th Bomb Group. Two survivors: Bob McCluskey & George L.
